What is it?

They greet me at morn when I waken from sleep, And they gladden my heart at the noon; They follow me on into shades of the night, When the day with its labor is done.

What is it? The Mercies of our God! What a great old hymn, but better still what a wonderful grace of God.

His Mercy is:
Great Mercy, Numbers 14:18 The LORD [is] longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression,. . .

Rich Mercy, Ephesians 4:2 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, . . .

Plenteous Mercy, Psalm 86:5 For thou, Lord, [art] good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

Abundant Mercy, 1 Peter 1:3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

Everlasting Mercy, Psalm 136, . . . for His mercy endureth forever. . . .

Tender Mercy, Psalm 103:1-4 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, [bless] his holy Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;. . .

Mercy that Fills The Earth, Psalm 119:64 The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.

And everyone's favorite, Fresh Mercy, Lamentations 3:22-23 [It is of] the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not [They are] new every morning: great [is] thy faithfulness.

As you awaken to this day, be thankful, and seek His mercy!

Have a wonderful day serving our Wonderful Lord, by Grace Alone.
